Dave, Based on my experience (and yours) I would have to say that rhsetup doesn't do _any_ sort of firewall setup. You can either roll your own by editing /etc/sysconfig/iptables and making sure iptables gets started at boot time, or you can use loader to do the installation, and then tweak the rules afterwards to allow the network access you need.
