Jim,
It doesn't seem to be working. Do you think they're on to us? I
thought starting a cult would be easy and we'd be enjoying our
tax exempt status. Getting recruits by putting on fake conferences
and getting "Chair persons" is a novel approach. We'd get them
to come to their "orientation" on the Sunday (I love that term, it
sounds so innocent!) where we can start playing with their minds.
We give them the literature: putting our mantras and brainwashing
chants in the form of a spiel "Turn off mobile phones; Please fill
out evaluation forms" - it's so subtle and subliminal, I've got to
hand it to you!
The Wednesday pizza party is the coup de grace. Feeding them our
mind-altering drugs in the form of pepperoni and beer - who could
resist? It's so addictive we keep getting repeat attendees who go
through the whole process time after time. The only thing we seem
to be having trouble with is the Thursday night SCIDS sing-along.
I think our recruits may be a bit too sophisticated for this but
those who do go are ours for life.
Anyway, here's the list of slots still available for new recruits.
I'm not sure if you have anything in your bag of tricks to bait the
trap but see what you can do.
