I am installing the sles7 beta system under VM and have hit a shag. It has
installed all the packages, but can't write out the kernel. YAST gets an
error saying file not found. So I am trying to do the zipl by hand.
Nothing seems to have been set up for doing it. There's no /etc/zipl.conf
file, so I have tried building one:

[defaultboot]
default=ipl

[ipl]
target=/boot/zipl
image=/boot/zilo-kernel/image
parameters="dasd=0150,0151 root=/dev/dasdb1 noinitrd"

I am getting this error:
Error opening eckd bootloader input file /boot/zipl/eckd0.

What is this file?

Thanks.
