DHCP Client problem with SUSE distribution.

I am running the SUSE Linux distribution and am having problems enabling the DHCP client.  My DHCP server is a Windows/NT.   After tracing the Windows/NT server I can see the broadcast from the LINUX machine however the trace indicates a UDP CHECKSUM error from the Linux machine and the N/T server never makes an offer.   Has anyone else had a similar type of failure.   TIA Bill Held   William P.
