You will get that message everytime you do not do a 'clean' dismount of the
file systems. If, say you had the file systems mounted for the Kernal
upgrade and did not dismount your file system prior to re-IPLing your
image, then the file system would be in an 'open' state when it tries to
mount them and fsck will be called to check the file system for damage.
FSCK is 'File System Check'.

Hello everybody,
After rebuild my kernel 2.4.7 with all ibm patch applied, I get some
troubles with my first IPL.
"Fsck" tall me the filesystem has been corrupted
Should I need to do something else after zipl ?
