In SuSE 7.0, this is part of the "aaa_base" package, and there's a cron job in /etc/daily/aaa_base_rotate_logs that does things similar to "logrotate" but based on the parameters in /etc/rc.config (MAX_DAYS_FOR_LOG_FILES) and a list of files in /etc/logfiles. Ross Patterson Computer Associates
