You can run VM in a virtual machine. The second level VM runs exactly
like a first level VM. It can run anything including a third level VM.
When running VM under VM, each VM has only the resources that the next
higher level VM gives it.

When installing Linux on VM, the procedure is the same no matter whether
the VM is running first level, second level, third level or nth level.
The Linux guest has no way of telling how many levels of VM it is
running under.
