Stephen,

02/05/2002 - Aurora Emanuela Dell'Anno of Candle Corporation announced the
general availability of OMEGAMON XE for Linux/390. The announcement was met
with some derision from various VM support folks who don't think Candle
supports OMEGAMON for VM very well.

Subject: Re: **GA OF OMEGAMON II FOR Mainframe Networks v520**

Many years ago when I was at an MVS shop I used and liked Omegamon to
monitor the system. As I have been at a VM and VSE shop for the last 15
years I have not been using it. Seeing this announcement posted on the
Linux-390 list make me wonder - can we run Omegamon on Linux now? The
announcement does not say what it runs on except for saying it still
runs on MVS. If I can get the same kind of detailed picture of my TCP/IP
network that I used to get of my MVS system I would be interested. But
not enough to go back to MVS.

OMEGAMON on LINUX! That is a product I would like to see.
