That's where I started. Per ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/7.2/en/os/s390/README/ , the HOST= for iucv0 connections should specify $TCPIP for VIF users. But the install issues an error saying that $ is an invalid character. And I've tried leaving the HOST statement out, but I can't respond to the message under VIF logon. I just get a CP response to my reply and the install just sits there waiting.
