Should work though. Many reported that it works for them. Maybe
check that you had the latest code from
   http://www.rvdheij.com/linuxipl.html
If you get as far as this message it looks like Linux did pick up
your parm line but failed to load the initrd. Any messages in that
area? Do you get the message about the ramdisk found?
