9:00 am Introduction by User Group executive David Kreuter on the
goals of the combined user groups
SESSIONS:
* Update by IBM on s/390, VM, VSE, Linux for 390 and WAVV
conference.
* Coffee break
* David Kreuter of VM Resources will present a technical
briefing of the VM/LinMan product. VM/LinMan provides
systems management for Linux images on s/390.
* Barton Robinson of Velocity Software will give a presentation
on: Measuring and Tuning Linux for S/390 Servers
* Lunch
* Hans Rempel will give a technical presentation on VSE based
enterprise printing solutions. As well, he will be available
to discuss the latest VSE gossip that came up in the WAVV
conference.
* Jeffrey Barnard of Barnard Software, Inc. will discuss an
overview of TCP/IP-TOOLS newest feature ... VSE/ESA File and
Printer sharing using Samba.
* Alan Altmark is a Senior Software Engineer at the IBM Endicott
laboratory. He will be presenting on a topic related to TCP/IP
in the VM environment.
* Roundtable and general discussion on VM/ESA and VSE/ESA future
direction etc.
