It sounds like you don't have the same printer drivers specified as for the one attached to the NT system, or you don't have _exactly_ the same character string specified in the "comment = " and "printer driver =" fields in /smb.conf.
The drivers that get installed on the client's PC determine what sort of features are made available for printing. As long as the client PC thinks it the exact same printer, it will display the exact same options.
