It sounds like you don't have the same printer drivers specified as for the
one attached to the NT system, or you don't have _exactly_ the same
character string specified in the "comment = " and "printer driver =" fields
in /smb.conf.

The drivers that get installed on the client's PC determine what sort of
features are made available for printing. As long as the client PC thinks
it the exact same printer, it will display the exact same options.

Subject: Linux/390 - Duplex print

We've defined our current LAN printers to a Linux/390 guest and can
print okay from various apps (Word, Excel, etc.). But I'm having trouble
figuring out how to get duplex print. For example, we have an HP 8000
with duplex capability. I'm trying to make the LINUX printer look just
the same as the printer on the NT server. But right now if I look at the
properties on the HP 8000 printer (say from Word you select FILE then
PRINT and then PROPERTIES) the print both sides option does not appear.
Any suggestions?
