Alan, Strictly speaking, true, but many people had it installed on their 2.2 systems. My point was that I'm not aware of whether or not the endian-safe fixes that went into the official 2.4 tree were retro-fitted into the non-official patches maintained for the 2.2 kernel. Do you know if this has been done or not, or would I need to ask the developer?
