Those are all different beasts. With SuSE you can install cpint.rpm to get the userspace programs like /sbin/hcp to issue a CP command. To let it work you need to run the /sbin/cpint_load and the /sbin/post-insmod that SuSE provides. s390-tools is the thing that contains zipl, fdasd and dasdfmt. Rob
