Shlomit,

Make sure you have the following defined:
lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     root            6 Apr  4 09:29 /dev/cpcmd -> cpint8
crw-rw----   1 root     wheel    254,   0 Apr  4 09:29 /dev/cpint0
crw-rw----   1 root     wheel    254, 220 Apr  4 09:29 /dev/cpint220
crw-rw----   1 root     wheel    254,   8 Apr  4 09:29 /dev/cpint8
lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     root            8 Apr  4 09:29 /dev/cpmon ->
cpint220

Then "insmod cpint" and then you can do:
hcp q f
hcp def ctc 0f00
etc.

Subject: Usage doc. for: cpint, s390-tools, and s390utils

Hi,

I am using Linux version 2.4.7-SuSE-SMP and I need to issue CP commands. I
couldn't find the documentation on how to use any of: cpint, s390-tools,
and s390utils (do we have something else?). Any clue?
Thanks in advance,
Shlomit
