Using ssh is best, right? Any other user account is ok. A real quick and bad hack is to "rm -f /etc/securetty", then you can login as root. Another is to change the pam requirements and delete pam_securetty for telnet. You did hear warnings that using ssh is best, right? cu, Florian La Roche
