I decreased to 1024 the MTU size but problem isn't solved. Trying a lower value a get erroro during communication. Is there a suggestion about mtu size value? Is possible that the problem is caused for some PTF not installed on VM? I have vmesa 2.3 I have also another kind of configuration about TCPIP networking. I've not an OSA attached on VM. I've a ctc connection between VM and OS390 from an IP addree to an IP address. To communicate between Linux and VM, network specialist configured a virtual ctc between Linux and another IP address of VM. So there are two IP on VM environment. One to communicate with OS390 and one to communicate with Linux. I've some doubt about this conf. May ths configuration create problem with telnet??? Thank's to everybody! Max
