Over the weekend we had one of those outages where before operations knew anything about the problem, IBM was at the door saying to shut things down so that they could fix the broken unit. It had phoned home. I happened to know because one user had reported a volume offline. But, now I admit it was Sunday so I was moving a bit slowly, before I got word to operations, the hardware and the IBM team backing it, were already in action. Nice job, folks. Sure, when we're paying that much we expect it, but still, we do appreciate it.
