Dennis,

Check out http://linuxvm.org/present/SHARE98/S5507NFa.pdf (RPM 101). But
most likely what you need to do is copy the patches to the source to the
/SOURCES directory, then go back to the /SPECS directory and do a "rpm -bb
strace.spec" and then sit back and wait. When the binary rpm is built, go
to /RPMS/s390 and "rpm -ivh strace-whatever.s390.rpm"

Subject: Need rpm assistance

Greetings;

I thought I had saved a post that detailed how to do this, but I have
saved too many posts. Too much good info on this list!

Anyway, I have installed the rource rpm for strace and updated the
spec file with the two additional patches for the "May 2002 stream"
390 updates.

Now what do I do? I vaguely remember that there were three or four
steps that had to be done but I am having no success remembering or
figuring out what they are.

Many TIA!
Dennis
