Is your Samba system set up as the PDC for your domain?

Have you looked at the "Using Samba" book that comes with the Samba
documentation? It probably has something in there about setting up NT
clients, which would apply just as well (usually) to Windows 2000 ones.

Subject: Windows 2000 and Samba Server

Hi,

I have Samba 2.2.4a test machine running on a SuSE Linux as a guest on VM.
My clients are Win95/98 and Windows 2000 desktops.
The network client is Microsoft Windows Network Client.
I have batch files created for all users.
Users that have Win95/98 dekstops authenticate and the batch files map the
network drives properly when they log in.
I can map drives after I have logged into the Windows 2000 client, but I
would like to be able to have batch files run automatically.
How can I have the batch files run on the Windows 2000 desktops when they
log in?

Regards,

Darren
