Hi! Actually, there is an zSeries binary. If you take a look at the link in the previous mail, it will take you to a form where you can request to get the binary for Linux zSeries:

Many of the Microsoft pieces come precompiled, and while binaries are available for a number of non wintel platforms (including lintel and OS/390), linux s/390 is not one of them. ~ Daniel
