According to WSC Flash 10144, there is a limit on sharing an OSA-Express running in QDIO mode. The text of the Flash states that "There is a limit to the number of TCP/IP stacks ...". http://www-1.ibm.com/support/techdocs/atsmastr.nsf/PubAllNum/Flash10144
Does anyone know if this is a limit of TCP/IP instances or a limit of IP addresses serviced by the shared OSA-Express? In other words, does a multi-homed TCP/IP stack (z/VM in this case) count as one or as the number of IP addresses it services (z/VM plus Linux guests)?
