I made a V-DISK for swap. But my dasdfmt command is not working for FBA device.
I'm using RedHat Linux 7.2 and customized kernel 2.4.17(w/ IBM developerWorks patches). root@falcon2 # cat /proc/dasd/devices | grep dasdd 0203(FBA ) at ( 94: 12) is dasdd : active at blocksize: 512, 250000 blocks, 122 MB root@falcon2 boot # dasdfmt -b 4096 -y -f /dev/dasdd dasdfmt -b 4096 -y -f /dev/dasdd dasdfmt: Unsupported disk type /dev/dasdd is not an ECKD disk!
