You have seven S/390 processors, which I assume from your note are running OS/390 today? I also assume that you are not using them to full capacity so you could run the OS/390 workload on six processors. Then, yes you can convert a "standard" S/390 processor to an IFL feature. This of course assumes you are on a 9672 G5/G6 or zSeries processor. RPQ 8P2227 provides for "CP to IFL Conversion". RPQ stands for "Request for Price Quotation" and this RPQ does not have a published price. You need to contact your IBM marketing rep or Business Partner to determine the price. Regards, Jim
