We have found IBM equivalent products for CA-MICS, CA-ACF2, CA-7/CA-11. I
don't know about a report archive and delivery product. We use
ViewDirect/Document Direct from Mobius for that and as yet, CA has not
bought them. (that's only funny because it's what CA does). For the
CA-11/CA-7 situation we are going with Tivoli Workload Scheduler. The
demo's I've seen are very impressive. Easy to use product. I'm not sure
what we're replacing MICS with. I believe IBM has a report
archiving/delivery product also. You can check with your IBM rep on
replacement products for existing CA stuff you have.

The kicker is this - Even after the conversion fee, and IBM software
licensing we're going to save over 1 million dollars the first year. Or so
I'm told.

I'd be interested in a list of the IBM replacement products and what they
replaced?
Does IBM offer a decent scheduler and rerun package?
Same question for an report archive and delivery product?

TIA
