Phil:

The price of DB2 UDB V8.1 Enterprise Server Edition (ESE) is the same on
all platforms (Windows, Linux or any UNIX). There is a product called
DB2 UDB V81.

There is also Workgroup Server Unlimited Edition (WSUE), which is about
1/3 the price of ESE, but it is limited to 32-bit hardware and a maximum
of four processors. And then there is Workgroup Server Edition (WSE)
which has the same hardware restrictions and costs less, but adds a
per user charge and has some usage restrictions.

IBM charges the same price for the same product no matter what the
platform for these products.
