> Check out the following URL for more complete information: > http://www.bmc.com/corporate/nr2002/091602_1.html History teaches us that incumbents often don't make the curve during paradigm shifts. The companies that built the mass transport devices of the nineteenth century - the passenger liners - didn't become the companies that built the successor - the Jumbo jet. The companies that operated the liners also didn't become the operators of the jet aircraft. The classic telcos have at best minority stakes in the mobile phone service providers. None of these groups had the vision. Somewhere, someone is probably still making buggy whips. BMC has also failed to get the point - but I will lose no sleep. -- Phil Payne http://www.isham-research.com +44 7785 302 803
