If you are using CDL (Compatable Disk Layout) volumes on Linux, then you
should be able to use either ADRDSSU or FDR, if you are current on
maintenance, to copy these volumes using OS/390. Make sure that the
associated Linux system is DOWN! CDL has a VTOC that OS/390 can recognize.
This VTOC has 1 to 3 "data sets" on it that represent the Linux partitions
on the volume. This "data set" entry indicates that the entire area is "in
use", so make sure to use ALLEXCP and ALLDATA(*) on the ADRDSSU control
card.
