Mohammed, There have been a number of IBM Redbooks written about Linux/390. They're mostly still of value to someone just starting out. I've listed them, with links, at the top of the page at http://linuxvm.org/ I would really recommend that you download them and at least skim them so that you know where to look for more information when the need arises.
