There have been a number of IBM Redbooks written about Linux/390.  They're
mostly still of value to someone just starting out.  I've listed them, with
links, at the top of the page at http://linuxvm.org/  I would really
recommend that you download them and at least skim them so that you know
where to look for more information when the need arises.

I am just getting started with LINUX. I do not have any working knowledge of
LINUX. We have MVS OS/390 release 2.10 and 2.7 running in two LPARS on a IBM
9672/R16 processor. Does any one knows if I can build another LPAR for LINUX
with out upgrading the processor. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
