Perhaps it was Host-On-Demand...?  I recall having used a version of HOD
on OS/2 at one time.  Might have been a while ago though, with an early
version of HOD.

Hopefully they haven't done what another IBM software company/division was
doing: writing their Java code to target a Windows-specific JVM...

The HOD client was part of the IBM Host Access Client Package a little
while back, but I'm not sure that's current.
