Steve, If this is the same flavor I installed, as I recall there are a couple of directories you need to add to your PATH. Try looking for and adding /opt/IBMJava2-s390-131/bin and /opt/IBMJava2-s390-131/jre/bin. It is documented in /javadocs/README.SDK.HTML.

I downloaded version 1.3.1 SR3 from https://www6.software.ibm.com/dl/lxdk/lxdk-p and installed succesfully via YAST. Yet I cannot find the directory that = it was installed to and it seems as though it is not currently active on = my system since a JAVA -version tells me command not found. Do I need to = do something to make JAVA active after doing the install of the RPM? Any = help would be appreciated.
