The 31 bit linux versions run DB2 v 8.1 nicely, ie 31 bit SLES-7, 31 bit
SLES-8, and RedHat 7.2

You will need a compatibility library, on suse it should be called
compat.rpm; I dont remember what it's called on RedHat.

Is anyone having problems like i am

we have z/vm 4.3 on a z800 processor
using hypersockets...
linux    2.4.17 in 64bit

having problems getting pearl to compile
and run the checkout test

can't get db2 ver 8.1 to install.. think you have to be 31 bit on this one

can get db2 ver 7.2 to install but can't create a db2 instance..missing lib
files or something

DBI... like odbc manager...generic connect manager
DBD--mysql...DBD--db2....
perl connectivity

anyone know of a downloadable linux that will run DB2 8.1 and
hypersockets..

will be willing to pay $$$$...

thanks a bunch
