I received an error message trying to run a configure script for LVM. One message I saw stated that I should "Consider using the --with-kernel_dir flag" and I have seen the "use with-kernel_dir flag" comment is other documentation.
I assume that this is an environment variable but I don't know what steps I need to perform so that this is set. Also, what command can I execute to determine the version of Linux I am running? Thanks in advance for your help.
