Rod,

You might need something like this:
browseable = Yes
guest account = nobody
map to guest = Bad User

Some of these are defaults, so they may not show up in your smb.conf file.
Do a "testparm | less" command to see what the current values are.

Subject: Samba Problem

I have SAMBA set up and running on my Debian 3.0 s390 system. I can see the
file share from the "Computers Near Me" screen on my Win 2000 machine. When
I double click on the server, I get the error message "\\Ss390 is not
accessable. The network path was not found."

What do I do to fix this problem?

Thanks,
Rod
