Did you use YaST2 to do the installation? Perhaps that sort of task is done
from there. One way to find out where some of this might be done is
rpm -ql packagename
and see what winds up under /etc.

I'm still trying to figure out where to place things that
used to be in the /etc/rc.config in SLES 7.
For instance, I want to start Mysql and SNMPD. In Sles 7
rc.config contained:
START_MYSQL = "yes"
START_SNMPD = "yes"
Where do I do this under SLES 8? (and where is this stuff documented???)
