In my ignorance, seems likely;-) Why woulnd't MS change things to ensure it doesn't? Earlier Windows can be fixed with a patch. Try the Samba 3 beta. FWIW I have Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition Evaluation Edition sitting here on my desk while I think about what to put it on.
