Well, there's messing with IBM and there's messing with IBM.  This comes
in the latter category.

One of my colleagues and good friends at Amdahl was their European
Corporate Counsel.  He defined his job as:

a) Not sueing IBM.
b) Not being sued by IBM.
c) Repeat for the rest of the industry.
