Your benchmark does not look at any I/O. I know the performance guru's like
to say that "No I/O is good I/O" (and Linux has  been optimized along this
rule in some fashion), but if you don't measure I/O, aren't just describing
a functionally autistic machine? And the advantage of that is ...?
