apt-get and jigdo are both nice to help. I presume most are familiar
with what apt-get does.

Jigdo provides help with big files such as CD images. I recently
downloaded templates for Debian (but not IA32) from the master site,
then filled in the holes (quite literally) from a local site that
carries the packages but not the ISOs.
