http://www.sinenomine.net/downloads now has available Debian packages of
the 2.4.19 kernel with IBM patches 0-6, the timer patch, the kerntypes
patch, and Leland Lucius's VMPARMS, upcase, and fix-install patches.

There you will also find 2.4.21 Debian kernel packages (which include
the newly Open-Source qeth driver) with IBM patches 0-2, the timer
patch, the kerntypes patch, and Leland Lucius's VMPARMS, upcase, and
fix-install patches.

All of that stuff is GPL.

There's also a new version of SWAPGEN EXEC, which functions identically
to the last one (i.e., works in FBA and DIAG modes), but thanks to Phil
Smith, is much better commented and has much more robust error
checking. It's also had an actual Open Source license added to it (the
Artistic License).

The Debian stuff is in no way to be construed as an official Debian
release.  As always, no warranty is expressed or implied with these;
specifically, the .config file included in the Debian packages, and the
set of applied patches, is what *I* use for *my* development machines,
and it may or may not be at all appropriate to your site. If it breaks,
you get to keep both pieces. Do not deploy in production without plenty
of testing (yes, you can purchase support for all of the above from us
if you want; you're also free to use it without doing so, but if it
calls the police and phones your mom to tell her you're wearing dirty
underpants, don't come crying to us) and understanding the possible
risks. Your Mileage May Vary. Do not expose mainframe to open flame.
Do not taunt Happy Fun Kernel 2.4.21. Side effects, although rare and
experienced by less than 2.9% of all test subjects, may include nausea,
dizziness, dry mouth, impotence, psoriasis, heartbreak, uncontrollable
rage, thundering penguinitis, and spontaneous combustion. For external
use only. If swallowed, induce vomiting immediately.
