Yeah, that was what I meant. And the reason you might do that is that you wanted inter-LPAR communication, and you didn't have HiperSockets available to you, because your hardware or software was too old to support them, or your configuration predated HiperSockets' availability and you had a strict "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" policy at your site. I've seen this at at least one customer site. Adam
