Just completed a z990 ITSO course and came across 2 note worthy new features you people may be interested in. Sorry if this has already been mentioned in this forum. There are 2 new HMC functions that are introduced with the z990 but apply to z800, z900 and G5/G6 HMC's with patches applied.
