Edit the sshd config file. Usually it is /etc/ssh/sshd_config The line that says allow root login change from yes to no.

We would like to disable root from being able to login anywhere but the console. su'ing to root is ok, but security doesn't want root to be able to logon. How do I do this in SLES 8. I accomplished it somehow in SLES 7, but can't seem to figure it out in 8. Thanks in advance! Marcy Cortes Wells Fargo Service Co
