I don't think the 4004 (4-bit words) could have ben either;-) You neglected the 8008, after the 4004 and before the 8080. The only think I know about the 8008 is that they were used in some terminals we had in the mid 70s, made by Information Electronics in Canberra. -- Cheers John.
