Yes, if you insist on installing everything. E.g: * Do you intend to run any local X server? (X server, fonts) * And X clients? Do you really need KDE & GNOME? * What languages do the computer's user read? * Do you really need all of those servers you installed? You should make it easy to install extra software. Thus you won't have to install something "just in case". The basic linux system has not grown much. It is mostly the size of the "extra" that keeps growing.
