The performances I obtained was very bad (about 1/10 of the real box in terms of mail/minute, mainly due to tun/tap network); moreover, the guests experienced some random freeze.
From then many bugs have been fixed and perhaps I could get some better performance applying the SKAS patch to the host kernel.
But definitely I don't want to patch a production kernel, at least for official support issues.
And, based on what I see in the download page at sourceforge.net, it seems the UML now is at 0.59 version.
Even if UML had full s390 support, do you really want a production environment based on an 0.x product?
Best regards. G

Thanks,
I don't want to put UML on zSeries but I want to prove that z/VM is the best choice ...
Again it's difficult for me to prove this because i don't master UML anyway ...
