A couple of items:
1) The parameter file has some size restrictions. In the README
file on the RH V7.2 CD1 ( , there is a section titled: 'Customizing the
parameter file:'
I found the following lines:
- The parameter file should contain NO MORE THAN 80 characters per line.
- The vm reader has a limit of 11 lines for the parameter file (880
characters).
- The DASD and the tape IPL have a limit of 896 characters
(include/asm/setup.h
and arch/s390/kernel/head.S).
2) It looks like Lines '2' & '3' are dups.
3) The Parameter file does allow more than one Keyword/operand per record.
I don't recall where that
is documented. Your Parameter file was already exploiting than on Line 1.

I'm installing RHv 7.2 on a z/800. I have, what I feel, is a proper parm
file,
but it keeps asking me for the FQDN. Have got something wrong?
