I hope you're talking about 'pseudo full pack' on the 3390-1 so mini
disks starting at cylinder 1. When you move them to a 3390-3 there will
be two cylinders left.

Right now you have 3 devices to reach 2.3 GB of data. In the new
situation there is only one device for it. When you are concerned about
I/O performance of the Linux guests you should probably try to spread a
guest's mini disks over your real devices, and not stuff the disks on
one guest on a single volume.
