Adam: Looks like it, doesn't it. In fact, the AS 3000 was a stripped down MP 2000! Think of taking the front half of a MP 2000 (processor cage in the top, disk cage in the bottom) and putting the processor cage in the back. Change the front cover and you have an AS 3000.
