This goes along with my previous DB2 question. How does Linux get installed (or IPLed) in 32-bit mode when running on 64-bit hardware? I've installed the same Linux media on a 32-bit system (Flex in ESA mode) and a 64-bit system (z900). The Linux on the z900 comes up as s390x, but I need the s390 kernel in order to install DB2 (and be supported). -- Rich Smrcina Sr. Systems Engineer Sytek Services - A Division of DSG Milwaukee, WI rsmrcina at wi.rr.com rsmrcina at dsgroup.com
